How would you feel if you could eliminate your power bill?
I can tell you from first -hand experience how it makes me feel!
With so many people concerned about their economic future, a flood of materials on how to create and install your own wind and solar power generators have appeared as online “Do-It-Yourself” guides. Obviously, saving money makes sense and using an alternative to public service high utility bills is a no-brainer. Especially if you know how you can build your own renewable energy system for $200 or less and reduce your electric bill by as much as 95%.
For so many today, the thought in the back of your mind has to be the unspoken nightmare of “What happens if I lose my job?” It seems prudent to cut costs somewhere or face the prospect of not going to be able to pay the bills! I feel that the economy is still declining and although I try to think positively, worst case scenario could include hyper-inflation and a complete collapse of our money system. I am not a drama king or a sensationalist but I am a realist and for me that means being proactive by having enough food storage, a safe haven, and becoming as independent as possible when it comes to home energy solutions.
These are additional reasons I think going energy independent makes sense…….

Personal Gratification- There is a true sense of accomplishment in being able to generate your own electric power. It’s empowering to learn and understand the technology enabling you to create electricity anytime you want.
Possible Source of Revenue – By becoming a Home Energy Expert, you could possibly begin building these units and selling them to other energy conscious users. The units are not expensive to build and you could make a reasonable profit on each one.
Build off the Grid – There is great freedom in realizing that you are not restricted by location if you want to build a home anywhere. (Remember that Island Paradise home you want to build? Mountain Cabin?)
By going online to search for ways to create homemade electricity you will find out there are dozens of companies out there all selling their own DIY energy books. There is a wealth of free information regarding the subject as well as these "Energy Guides" you can purchase. The question becomes, "Why do I want to have to pay for an e-book when the resources I'm looking for should be on the net for free?" In my experience, free information is, in general, about equal in value to its cost. It is hard to find, hard to sort through when you find it and generally incomplete. The vast majority are teasers with not a lot of substance designed to promote one of the paid guides anyway.
